    What is Process Piping?

In residential plumbing terms, “process piping” typically refers to the wastewater and sewage pipes that take ‘spent’ water away from your home to the sewer system, or in many local situations, the septic tank.

In commercial or industrial terms, process piping can also be used to describe the piping used for manufacturing infrastructure. Such as a facility may require different lines for non potable cold water, hot water, steam, and any other type of fluid or gas that needs to be transported within the building (or between buildings).
